THE CATS AT INVERNESS!
There is a feral cat problem at the Abbey at Inverness. Currently, there are four breeds and two new litters going into 2024. If you have a dog or car, expect scratches. The cats climb on vehicles, dart across the street, and harass responsible pet owners. Attempts at solving the issue with the Abbey at Inverness management have been unfruitful. They insist that it is the residents' job to solve the feral cat infestation. Local animal controls have stated that “allowing feral cats to breed at the abbey will lead to fleas and are dangerous to children who think they are pets.” I was told the cats are unvaccinated and should not be approached. Problems arise as the cats live on the resident’s stairs. It is a shame that the abbey has allowed the cats to breed excessively, leaving more cats without a home :(. The cats and residents deserve better.
Here are some pictures of the beautiful cats. (There are 8 in that photo, but that is only about a third of the cats. I've counted as many as 20 after a litter. Sadly, many kittens do not survive without proper vaccinations and care.)
My wife and I have been living here at the Abbey for over 2 years and we really have enjoyed it. Maintenance has been really quick to come fix any of our issues. Some of the reviews where people are complaining about the roaches are probably because you are living in apartment building where the other tenants are not keeping their apartment clean. Some people can be filthy. Not keeping your apartment clean and dirty dishes food out that's what causes roaches
Miss Renetta was an absolute angel in assisting me before I moved in, during my move and after I was already settled in. She absolutely goes above and beyond to assist the tenants in any way possible while keeping a positive attitude and a smile on her face. I truly appreciate everything she's done for me and I'm constantly reminded that if I need anything at all, she'll be here. 🙏🏾
Miss Renetta is very professional, prompt with call backs and seems to love her job! I've worked with several complexes and find her to be the best of all! She provides the atmosphere people desire when renting.
